According to the Mobile County Sheriff's Office, Alisa Dawn Manning and Sammuel Albert Manning have both been located. The couple was wanted for questioning in the disappearance of their children, ages 11 and 14.
Officials said the couple's 11-year-old daughter Samantha and 14-year-old son Jacob have both been located and are safe.
According to authorities, tips led them to the location of the parents and the children. They say the children were found in the Glenwood Subdivision in Semmes while the parents were located in a different community in Semmes.
Sammuel Manning has been arrested on outstanding warrants and authorities say Alisa Manning is cooperating fully with deputies.
According to investigators, Samantha and Jacob Manning were taken from their grandmother's home on May 12. The sheriff's office said the grandmother was awarded custody of the children earlier that day. The brother and sister had been living with the grandmother for over a year due to criminal activity by the parents, identified as Sammuel Albert Manning and Alisa Dawn Manning.
According to the sheriff's office, Alisa Manning visited the children after the custody hearing and told them she would be appealing the ruling. A few hours later, the children were no longer at the grandmother's house.
