The Mobile Police Department is after two suspects in an early morning carjacking suspects in the Birdsville community.

Look closely at the accompanying photographs. "We will pay cash for the identity and arrest of these two subjects," says the post on the MPD Cyber Intelligence Facebook page.

The carjacking happened about 5:37 a.m. Thursday off Michigan Avenue near Interstate 10. The suspects are two black men, and police say the suspect wearing red in the security camera images was armed with a firearm.

Police say the victim stated that two unknown males approached him and asked him to give them a ride to an unknown location. The victim then stated that the front-seat passenger pulled a gun and demanded his wallet, shoes and shirt. The victim was then put out of the vehicle in the area of Cardinal Drive. The subjects fled the location and there were no reported injuries. police say.

"If you think you know who these guys are please let us know ASAP," the MPD Facebook post says. It encourages information to be shared via a Facebook message or by calling 251-208-7000 or 251-208-7211.
